Chinese School of San Diego aims
to provide a well rounded program of studies of the
Chinese language and its cultures. Throughout the
program emphasis is placed upon the development of
fluency in Chinese listening, speaking, reading,
writing, and translation.

In 1979 three community leaders
- Po Wong in San Francisco, Charles Wang in New York
City, and Bernarda Wong in Chicago - sought to reach out
to their counterparts and learn more about the services
they provided to the Chinese community in their
area. They felt brining together a focused group of
organizations serving Chinese immigrants would be
extremely helpful.

US Metropolitan Cities are attending this year's Filial
Piety Conference hosted by the Chinese Service Center of
San Diego. |
